NT710 is a quality item that does auto VIN discovery - onf with a couple affirmation prompts. Very good.
I used it immediately to scan and review all stored codes, as a matter of interest, and to reset aspecific safety cutoff: Low Refigerant Cutoff for the AC Compressor.
Very easy to use and discovered everything this 20yr old E500 4Matic has. Diagnostic System may show some codes as "if so equpped" - you can safely disregard these occasional subsystem hardware-specific advisories.
I had no problem navigating the clearly presented hierarchy of system and subsystem options for identify and setting/resetting parameters.
This tool software is manufacturer specific and youvshould by it directly from Foxwell to have the manufacturer-specific software pre-installed. You can buy additional manufacturers, so you may have Acura, Mercedes and BMW all available to you. I paid $260 for the MBZ version.
The device is well made and lightweight, with probably adequate rubberized case protection to save it from a lo-height drop. A second silicon sleeve would be a great a t option. The box is great quality, and it comes with its OBDII serial connector as well as a short USB-C to USB-A cable.
Its WiFi transceiver is not particularly strong - I had to locate close to the router to get the WiFi connected. Once done, it was very easy to update all installed software while powered-up and tethered to a USB-C power supply. Install of updates took a little time... Best to standby because Sleep mode interrupted the updates in download progress. Not a big deal though: think how much hard work goes into developing an update. Respect and thanks to Foxwell for making a true bi-directional tool for specific manufacturers at an unbeatable cost.
I can 100% recommend this device for its sleek touch-screen size and design, its easy functionality, and great value for money.

Customer service helped me get the right scanner for my car and saved me 100s of dollars. Great product and best value! I can control a lot of my modules. It would cost 2k for a scanner to do that.
