It's a strong tool for spotting issues with leaks in automotive systems. Comparing SD201, it more FASTER, PRECISE, SMART. Dual test modes for faster, more accurate diagnosis to save time with Air Mode to quickly locate large leaks, then switch to Smoke Mode for precise detection of small EVAP, intake, or vacuum leaks. Unlike basic smoke machines with one mode, ST203 adapts to both quick inspections.

Works great to find pesky hose leaks

Works exactly as advertised. Helped me in finding old rotted hoses on our 2003 Chevy Astro allowing me to replace them and restore the heating & cooling system vacuum operated doors. Great purchase.

Must have automotive tool

If you work on old cars like I do, this tool is a must to troubleshoot vacuum leaks. Works great and comes with everything needed. Get a DC power support, more convenient than using the cars battery.

Works great

I had to watch a lot of videos but this is super functional. You can check leaks in multiple systems using this. It is easy to setup and easy to use. I feel compared to similar products it's a bit expensive, but for the product itself it works as expected and described and not upset and having it in my tool arsenal.

Machine feels cheeply made and lots of accessories with no storage.

The machine itself seems to work fine, I have only used it a couple of times. It feels a little lightweight which is a good thing for transporting it, not sure how well it's built to last a long time but we'll see. The battery clamps seem to be a bit lightweight as well. My main gripe about it is there's no storage for all the parts and pieces that come with it. At least include a storage bag or something. I lost some of the caps already. It's a difficult thing to store because it needs to stand up (the oil in it) and you have all these accessories you have to find something to do with. I found a replacement set of the red caps by a different brand for like 20 bucks. I guess I'll be ordering that and looking for something to store all this stuff in. I would've probably spent another $20-30 on this item if it came with some sort of storage.
